PostSubject: How To Install Mods-Part 1   Tue Apr 07, 2009 7:41 pm

Alright, first off, this is for some people who just installed the movies or people who are just learning about modding. NOTE THIS IS FOR WINDOWS USERS ONLY.

1-Download the mod you want and open it with WinZip or Winrar.
2-STOP! Hehe, sorry if I freaked you out. Before you do anything with the mod once it is opened in Winrar/WinZip, right click on the start button which can be found in the lower left hand corner of your screen.
3-Once the you right click, a menu should pop up, look through the menu unitl you find a button that says explore. Click this.
4-Go to this location. C:\Program Files\Lionhead Studios Ltd\The Movies
5-Now in your mod zip file there should be a folder named: 'data'.
6-Click and drag this folder into the location you already have in the start explore menu.
7-A message should appear after dragging it into the menu, this message will ask if you want to replace all of the files. Click yes.

NOTE: Always read the readme in a zip file, that way you know if the creator of the mod has any special instructions, I do this and so does MikeDBoing and many other modders.

Usually you'll find the readme's are pretty self explanatory, but this is good for all the beginners out there.
In fact I think only about 3 mods I've downloaded did not contain a readme & I've downloaded heaps.
